Hello to all,
I'm running NIS 20.3.0.36 on 2 machines and use IE 10 as default browser since it has been released.
I was very sad to see that a particular problem existed since IE8 & IE9 later, still exists in IE10.
It doesn't happening all the time, and to be accurate it's happening from time to time but it's reproducible on 2 machines.
When I close IE10, 2 instances of iexplore.exe are still running in Task Manager and when I click "End process" on one of them they both disappear.
The normal behavior would be that after closing IE, all iexplore.exe instances should terminate. (which happens most of the time BUT not always).
My problem is that I'm too lazy to check each time I exit IE, if all instances are closed.
This behavior could pose a security risk and I'd like to know if NIS still protects those 2 iexplore.exe intances even if the browser is closed?
Also, is there a particular setting in IE10, that I'm missing, which forces all iexplore.exe instances to close when exiting browser?
If that helps, I've noticed that the problem is happening when I logon, logoff from many sites like yahoo mail, gmail, Norton community etc, and it looks like IE 10 has some problems to terminate those established sessions.
Uninstalling & reinstalling IE10, IE10 with no add-ins or reset IE doesn't solve the issue.
Thank you all in advance for any help...
Regards,
