Well, wish It was good news but that's not the case. The scanning problem has reared its ugly head again. Again as before, it's an intermittent problem. Sometimes it scans without a flaw, and the other times I have to sign out & sign back in to get the scan to run. My version was updated to 20.3.1.22, and it worked beautifully for a short time, and then again the scanning problem resurfaced. It's obvious to me now that there isn't any version that will continue to work well. My husband is using my other laptop which runs Vista, IE 9, 64-bit, and his version of Norton 360 which was updated works perfectly. I can only conclude that the underlying problem is caused by Microsoft Windows 8 & compatibility issues with Norton products. Everything else on my computer works fine.
So, back to square one again and the frustration level is higher than ever.
